No preferred formats

No prose unless it's short and impactful
No rhymed poems
No classic forms

Please send up to 3 pieces
DOC or PDF (DOC preferred)

Previously published poems are accepted. You retain all rights to your own work. If Azarão is your poem's first publication space, a credit would be appreciated should your work be published elsewhere in the future.

Please include social media handle if you wish and a short bio.

Just so we're clear, inspirational quotes are not poems.

Azarão is run by an open-minded yet critical individual who believes in the craft of poetry. Anyone can write, writing is a beautiful creative outlet. I am however looking for crafters, imagists and wordsmiths.

Visual artists are more than welcomed to send their work. Whatever the medium, unless it's AI generated...yeah no.

Give us a morsel of your life, your heart, your guts. Show us why you write. Be as bold and weird as you want but above all, be precise. No bigotry allowed.
