Sabine dreams
I recall browsing Workaway
thinking I needed a change of sceneries ¿
gaze on Wat, Mahathat,
Ayutthaya
roots befriend Buddha
there was a man in a pottery studio
there was a man who cut fields with a traditional scythe to save bugs
i stayed in shade of bricks & plaster
my home studio
window let alone a little
ask Tarot where to go
one rune says: yes
lilac tree nodes wait
rain stopped
squirrel trills
birds flit flirt flutter
flurry to ancient tree
golden retriever protects
corners two houses over with
his throaty rhythmic choices
beigey smoldened
stern hydrangeas lean
stems twisty
engine accelerates like a hum
(the highway across roads away)
leaves feed detrivores
yet still sleep
behind tawny blanket
tucked tight waiting
spring sprites
