My Jupiter Return
it is through the shallows
the fluid light vitiated by disarray
The contemptuous dance of hero and miscreant
a huntress with a sadistic yearning for retribution
forgiveness tracing the maps on palms
in search of a violet storm
A wish for an upsweep of winds
to hurl a mountain of sorrow
at the tallest glassy building
the crash, a resounding triumph
i’ve only truly ever hated one person
a bully at odds with his own circumstance
i’ve read that we carry what we won’t let go
two strong legs and razor sharp tongue
soft hands able to deliver
beauty in droves
This is my incantation
my jupiter return
