ivy vega
the view from the top
you speak
a broken language
on this
immovable mountain
of mine
your lips traverse
the ridge line
climbing
from shoulder to collarbone
finding shelter
in my neck
where you
burry the words
i love you
artifacts
iced into my skin
Ivy Vega is a poet and healthcare professional. Drawing inspiration from her experiences in healthcare and background in dance, her work explores the liminal spaces where love, loss, and quiet resilience reside. Her work has been published in Prosetrics, Last Leaves Magazine, and Cozy Ink Press. When she is not writing or working with patients, she enjoys the performing arts, dogs, and—like any true New Yorker—indulging in pizza, bagels, and donuts.
