This photo (rose + lighter) is of my late friend Bahar Skylar. She was murdered last December. The investigation is still ongoing. She was 16. She loved alternative goth fashion, and stood with the politics associated with that style. On one of her instagram highlights she said: “If you're Homophobic, Transphobic, Racist, Sexist, You support Trump, Al, Fascists, Nazis, Genocide, You hate "Illegal" immigrants, dehumanize Addicts and the homeless, You force your religion on others yet judge them for having their own, Not a feminist, Lack empathy and basic human logic, see a reason to be offended by this go rethink your life choices and block me.” .

So many people miss her. I miss her, dearly. 

She still inspires me through everything, especially style and fashion and the politics I carry with these clothes; standing for what is right and kind.
